Quarter 2 TLE company updates 2024

Quarter 2 was packed with exciting events and achievements. Here are some highlights of what we accomplished.

Conferences & events:

The beginning of this quarter was marked by extensive planning and preparation for various roadshows and events.

Paul Zammit and Steve Nobbs attended the PI financial roadshow in Shrewsbury, where they shared their expertise in the specialist finance industry. Steve also presented on the virtual workshop hosted by TMA Club, covering all things specialist lending.

Additionally, Paul, Steve and Eleanor Glen hosted our second broker breakfast session in Hinckley, in collaboration with Together. The event was a great success, fostering conversations between brokers over a bacon sandwich.

These events provided valuable opportunities to connect with familiar faces and new brokers across the UK. We found them both enjoyable and productive and look forward to more events in the future.

Building partnerships

We became an Assured Member of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB). As NACFB members, we adhere to their high standards and criteria, reinforcing our commitment to maintaining the highest levels of integrity and quality in our work.

Case highlights

We pride ourselves on our efficiency in assisting clients quickly. This quarter, we successfully submitted, offered, and funded a second charge mortgage case with Pepper Money all in one day. We also completed a case for Veteran in Properties Ltd, a remarkable company dedicated to providing affordable housing to UK veterans and their families.

We value working with companies committed to making a difference and providing assistance to those in need.

Training sessions

Our experts frequently host training sessions, offering opportunities to learn and develop sector-specific knowledge. Eleanor, our Marketing Manager, led the second phase of marketing training sessions for mortgage brokers, which were highly successful. We plan to continue these sessions in the future.

We also continued our Mastering Specialist Lending training sessions, conducted by our Directors Steve and Paul, which have proven to be very effective.

Awards

This quarter, our hard work and dedication were recognised. We were shortlisted in the Bridging and Commercial Awards in the categories of Best Commercial Broker and Best Specialist Distributor.

Furthermore, we officially became a United Trust Bank Limited Premier Member, granting us access to enhanced criteria and services, allowing us to work more effectively and efficiently.
